The glass vessel is not designed for direct exposure to flame. As the tealight heats the base, the metal will become hot. Allow the pot and base to cool completely before handling, moving or cleaning, and keep the lit tealight away from flammable surfaces. Care & Instructions Glass Pot - Wipe with a clean cloth using a mix of water and soap.Metal & Brass Inserts - Rinse under warm water to remove any loose dirt or debris. To prevent tarnish, apply a thin coat of linseed oil or mineral oil to clean brass with a microfiber cloth.
